What You Need to Know about Aroma Rice Cookers

I’m a rice fan. It’s perfect for any occasion. I love it when I add cream and raisins for flavor. My palate gets so excited when I see steamed vegetables.

But an overcooked rice is an appetite killer. I also don’t like it if it’s too dry, I’m in no mood to chew brittle bits. Good thing there are Aroma rice cookers. They make cooking the tastiest and fluffiest rice easy. Why do many consumers love these rice cookers by Aroma?

They’re easy to use

The simplicity and ease of use of the Aroma cookers is what make me love them. They’re so simple you can cook your favorite rice in no time. Using the rice paddle and the measuring cup that come with every product narrows your task to simply measuring the rice and water. Let your Aroma rice cooker do the rest. They also have parts that are easy to clean.

They come in different sizes

The Aroma line also offers rice cookers of various sizes. The Pot-Style Rice Cooker sports a traditional Japanese style. It can be as small as a 3 cupper and as big as a 15 cupper. The Cool-touch unit comes in various cup sizes – 4, 8, 10, and 15. The commercial ones offer 24-cup and 30-cup cookers. The smaller Aroma rice cookers are great for singles and couples. The larger Aroma rice cooker models are perfect for people with big families.

They match with almost any kitchen design

I have a limited kitchen space and buying bulky appliances is not a good idea. Good thing I have my Aroma rice cooker. I’m very glad Aroma makes rice cookers that save important space.

They’re flexible rice cookers

Versatility is what makes an Aroma rice cooker popular. Not only do they cook great rice, they can also steam veggies, seafood, and poultry. They can also cook soups and stews. So these cookers are more than just any ordinary rice cookers. They also sport a larger than usual inside and come with steaming baskets. All of these features give you some time and energy savings.

They’ve lower price tags

They are surprisingly very affordable relative to other popular brands like the Zojirushi rice cooker. And the Aroma rice cookers do well in the competitive market. The smallest models (3 cups) can cost you about $14, whereas the largest models (30 cups) sell for about $129. These cookers from Aroma are perfect presents for your family and friends who love to cook rice.

The Good and the Bad about Panasonic Rice Cookers

I own a 3.3 cup rice cooker by Panasonic and I love it. This baby gives me everything I need in a rice cooker, so it’s not a surprise why reviewers love it. I’m so into its innovative and convenient design and other useful features. Panasonic rice cookers are among the choice of many consumers. A friend has just got one and she instantly fell in love with it.

This article shows some reviews of Panasonic cookers. The Panasonic rice cooker line offers many model, and it’s impossible to list them all here due to space constraints. So I selected 5 units rice cookers by Panasonic and included them below.

Panasonic SR-NA18 Rice Cooker

From Agatha, 41, teacher: I bought this rice cooker because of the great reviews. It’s a good rice cooker I must say. One of the good things is its automatic adjustments, perfect when making the best rice. I particularly like its washable inner lid and its self-cleaning feature. This compact unit also looks great on my countertop. But there are some minor grumbles. Fitting a cauliflower head in it just won’t do. The steamer tray is also not deep enough.

SR-G18FG Rice Cooker

From Sarah, 27, bank teller: Everything went smooth with this rice cooker for the first three months. I was thinking it was the perfect one. And then the water began to splatter like crazy. The rice boils several times when I try to cook in this thing. The spill over creates a big mess on the counter. What really disappoints me is the poor quality of the cooked rice. It comes out crunchy. The spill over really kills me. I’ve followed all troubleshooting suggestions, to no avail.

Panasonic SR-NA10 Rice Cooker

From Jess, 43, programmer: I have all good words for this Panasonic rice cooker. My family and I are very picky about the rice we eat. Our rice cooker hasn’t let us down so far. It cooks white and brown rice beautifully. What’s more, it’s dishwasher-friendly. I also like the LCD display, which allows me to see the remaining time before the rice is cooked. I’m so loving it. We couldn’t ask for more.

Panasonic SR-G10G 5-Cup Rice Cooker

From Donna, 42, florist: Size is perfect for 2 to 4 people. The online reviews are true. It makes the best rice. I have cooked various types of rice with this cooker and it doesn’t disappoint. Adjusting the amount of water depending on the kind of rice will help. The rice cooker also has some dishwasher-friendly features. There are some things that I don’t like, though. The lid and the handles are of poor quality, in my opinion. Despite minor shortcomings, this rice cooker remains a good catch.

Panasonic SR-3NA

From Chelsea, 26, editorial assistant: My sister gave me this Panasonic cooker. It’s the ideal rice cooker size for single persons. It’s soooo cute and makes good rice. This cooker is recommended for people who want to live a healthy lifestyle. I also love the fact that it looks good with the overall design of my kitchen. I’ve been cooking with it almost daily for about two months now and this cooker (like other Panasonic rice cookers) is the bomb. The performance is great, so far.
