Do’s

 

Before you do anything whenever you buy meat always check the amount of fat it’s got. You don’t want to be cutting the fat off for hours prior to deciding to actually cook the meat. You might make lots of hungry people angry concerning the time they had bargained on eating the meat. It is vital to get most fat off the meat. It’s healthier and tastier.

 

Meat by itself can be very nice but the use of marinade before you decide to cook it, it can be delicious. Rub the meat with as often marinade as you prefer and with flavors you feel are best. Always wash your hands with anti- bacteria soap before touching the meat as meat is a breeding ground for bacteria. Don’ts

 

You shouldn’t use lighter fluid to start the fire, your food might end up tasting like chemicals and this is also potentially hazardous. Lighter fluid could cause an uncontrollable fire. Don’t use gas as this really is dangerous and there is no doubt that your food will taste like gas. It is better to use non toxic fire lighters. Fire lighters are still poisonous so do not put meat on the braai ahead of the fire lighters are burnt up.

 

The location of the braai is critical. Do not place the braai under a tree with low hanging branches and ensure you aren’t near where kids are playing where they could run into it. Scout the area before you place it. Ensure you have enough space around the braai area as smoke can also be bad for children.

 

Braais are fun and it should produce tasty food. It’s enjoyable and many people benefit from the taste of a good braai. Make sure you are equipped and you follow a few steps if you would like an effective braai.
